Hello and welcome to my website.

I have always loved wildlife and books. As a child I read constantly and scribbled stories about Lassie and Daktari, as an adult I wrote about my favourite TV cowboys, but it was the arrival into my garden of a beautiful fox I called, Vix that led to the publication of my first book, Vix, the Lockdown Fox. I then published a memoir of my time with Vix entitled Vix, My Lockdown Friend.

I hope, through my books, I will encourage people of all ages to love and care for wildlife. I am using the money raised from the sale of my books and merchandise to support wildlife charities.

I am a science teacher and my love of the natural world has seen me travel in search of whales, bears and other amazing wildlife but I am also happy to sit in my garden watching the birds and listening for the arrival of a visiting cat or fox.
